The Role

We’re looking for a high-energy marketer who can support our Go-To-Market team with content that creates demand, builds trust with our audiences, and positions Proven Optics as the go-to experts in ITFM. Our market lacks quality content today, which means there’s a tremendous opportunity for you to lead the charge in filling it. 

This role will report to the Director of Demand Marketing – a former journalist and content marketer by trade who appreciates the challenges and rewards of owning content at a fast-paced SaaS outfit. 

Areas of Focus

Our content priorities will shift as the business grows. However, key near-term needs and initiatives include: 

– Content that creates demand and drives market education across key distribution channels (email, paid, events, partnerships)

– Helping us refresh, standardize, and expand our stable of product and sales enablement content 

– Working closely with SMEs to create time-sensitive deliverables for events, webinars, and demand gen initiatives

– Establishing a consistent blog and email newsletter cadence with internal thought leaders 

– Optimizing our web content management (WordPress CMS)

– Improving content creation workflows and helping to shape our long-term roadmap

About You

While there’s no one-size-fits-all for this type of role, we are prioritizing the following traits: 

– You have a demonstrated ability to own content projects from end-to-end 

– You’re an excellent communicator with a passion for clear copy that drives action 

– You’re a self-starter who can prioritize and manage multiple projects at once 

– You’re a team player and proactive collaborator who can thrive in a fully remote setting 

– You know how to quickly grasp and synthesize niche subject matter 

– You’re a strategic thinker with a creative streak 

– You have 3+ years of marketing experience 

– Prior experience in SaaS, IT, or growth-stage startups are bonuses but by no means required
