The FITARA Scorecard Version 12 was released on July 28th and shows notable progress on a number of IT-related performance categories. The scorecard is compiled by the House Committee with help from the Government Accountability Office (GAO), and has been issued twice a year since 2015.
Four agencies earned higher grades on the new scorecard, two agencies saw their grades decline on the new scorecard, and 18 agencies maintained the grade they received on the 11th version of the scorecard issued in December 2020.
The only score in the “A” range came from General Services Administration (GSA) with an A+ grade. 22 out of the 24 agencies earned overall scores within the “B” and “C” ranges. None of the agencies received a failing grade.
