The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Technology Business Management (TBM) or IT Financial Management (ITFM) to join our team at Proven Optics. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing expert guidance and solutions to our clients, helping them optimize their IT cost management and align technology investments with business goals using TBM/ITFM methodologies. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging your deep understanding of TBM frameworks, tools, and best practices to drive successful client engagements and deliver measurable business value in areas such as Budget and Forecasting, Cost Modeling and Cost Recovery.
Responsibilities
Consulting & Advising:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and advisor to clients on TBM/ITFM strategies, frameworks, and implementation approaches during Project Planning and Implementation
- Conduct in-depth assessments of clients’ IT Finance and management practices, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions
- Collaborate with client stakeholders at all levels to understand their business objectives and translate them into actionable IT Finance initiatives and deliverables within a project
- Comfortability in presenting in front of clients and leading project workshops
- Accommodate product demos, training sessions, and executive briefings to educate clients on TBM/ITFM concepts, benefits, implementation progress and best practices
Solution Design & Implementation:
- Design and implement Proven Optics solutions to meet client-specific requirements and industry standards, with an emphasis on sustainable, near out-of-the-box, delivery
- Define ITFM metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to track IT spend, value delivery, and performance against business objectives
- Provide hands-on support and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring successful adoption and realization of anticipated benefits
- Continuously assess industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to TBM/ITFM, incorporating insights into client engagements and solution offerings
- Guide the technical planning and trajectory of delivery projects with project managers and development resources
Thought Leadership & Innovation:
- Contribute to other areas of the business such as product improvements and delivery practice improvements as a whole
- Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and forums as a subject matter expert to raise awareness of TBM and position Proven Optics as a leader in the field
- Mentor and coach junior consultants on TBM/ITFM methodologies, tools, and client engagement techniques to foster knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team
