The Role
As a Proven Optics Advisory Solutions Consultant, you will have the opportunity to join the fast-paced world of an early-stage software company. Having a base level understanding of the IT Finance industry will be a critical component in the team’s success, as well as your own. In this role, you will need to be proficient in demoing the Proven Optics Cost Modeling, Budget & Forecast, and Invoicing & Chargeback applications. Presenting these solutions in a simplistic way that aligns with the prospects’ business objectives and challenges will be necessary in providing successful presentations. This role will also liaise with our Innovation and Professional Services Teams to communicate solution enhancements and project scoping requirements. The Proven Optics Solutions Consulting team is highly collaborative and a successful candidate should bring a growth mindset, high energy, and a self-starter mentality to the role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT Financial Management expertise and share that expertise with the team, partners, and prospects
- Proven experience in leading end-to-end sales cycles in the Non-Federal market from a Solution Consultant perspective
- Lead prospect discovery sessions alongside your Account Executive counterparts to understand & identify a prospect’s pain points, challenges, and business objectives
- Utilize your IT Financial Management experience to analyze the prospect’s needs and consult on best practices
- Demonstrate Cost Modeling, Budget & Forecast, and Invoicing & Chargeback applications in a way that is specific to the prospect’s needs and business objectives
- Effectively position and clearly articulate the value achieved by utilizing Proven Optics’ solutions
- Participate in RFx activities
- Configuring demo environments in order to better reflect a prospect’s unique needs and workflows
- Leading Proof of Concepts/Values with prospects when necessary
- Driving sessions with clients in order to effectively build rough orders of magnitude and statements of work to pass to the professional services team
- Passing customer feedback to the product/innovation team to foster product enhancements
- Support marketing initiatives like conferences, webinars, and tradeshows
- Stay up to date on enhancements and updates within Proven Optics applications, as well as new enhancements and platform releases to ServiceNow and the platforms applications
- Sharing knowledge and solution consulting expertise with other team members to improve the team’s SC skills and IT Financial Management understanding as a whole
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Solution Consulting experience
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience in configuring the ServiceNow platform or implementing applications on the platform
- Experience in working with IT Financial Management teams and the work they do on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly process
- An ability to discuss complex solutions, explain, and demo them in a way that is easy to understand
- Passion for digital transformation
Bonus Points For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT Finance role
- Experience as a Sr. Solutions Consultant at a software company
- Experience working in a fast-paced software environment
- Experience in implementing or configuring ServiceNow based applications
- Holding ServiceNow technical certifications (Certified System Admin, Certified Implementation Specialist, and etc.)
